'Commentary- Blessing by Imtiaz Dharker Essay\r'
'Imtiaz Dharkerââ¬â¢s poem describes rain down as its blessing to a dry place, as the short direct sentences in the foremost stanza suggests at that place was no promise on that go through with(predicate): ââ¬Å" in that location never is enough water.ââ¬Â The line shows the desperateness of rain as it sets a negative tone to start the poem. However, as the poem progress, there was an increase in hope and energy, seen from the energetic and positive language such as, ââ¬Å" kickingââ¬Â, ââ¬Å"burstsââ¬Â, ââ¬Å"crashesââ¬Â and ââ¬Å"roarââ¬Â.\r\nThese are utilize to associate with the movement and the liveliness brought by the rain. The poet is trying to compare rain to a god-like blessing as it says from the title, and also from the volume ââ¬Å"congregationââ¬Â as the word is related to religious. It depict rain as a god-gifted blessing to the land without hope, describing the echo of rain to: ââ¬Å"the voice of a hearty god.ââ¬Â\r\nWe und erstructure see the importance of water to the pile from the land as water is described as precious items such as ââ¬Å"silverââ¬Â, ââ¬Å" fateââ¬Â and ââ¬Å"liquid sunââ¬Â, suggesting itââ¬â¢s importance to these people.
